The Concours is one of the most important international events in its category. As well as the awards it confers international prestige to those wines that receive them.
Experienced tasters from around the world taste (by blind tasting) the wines in competition. This team of tasters is made up of specialized journalists, winemakers, international buyers, researchers and representatives of professional institutions. Together they form a cosmopolitan panel of some 51 nationalities. Their sole mission: to distinguish wines of indisputable quality, without prejudice to the label or the prestige of the brand or appellation.
In this past edition several of our wines have been recognized. Bodegas Vizar has received the Gold Medal for its Special Selection 2019, news that we echo on this occasion.
