he Competition, which aims to showcase the great wines that are also made in small Appellations of Origin, had a tasting panel composed of 18 jurors, all experts in sensory analysis of wines, from different parts of Spain, who highlighted the quality of the wines that had been presented this year to this edition of the Competition and recognized the value of these small regions as a “refuge” of different native varieties that are what give rise to a personality in the wines made in these regions.
A total of 25 wines were awarded, out of the nearly one hundred wines presented, with 14 GRAND GOLDS and 11 GOLDS that were obtained by these wines.
Among the award winners, we are proud to highlight the well-deserved award of Bodegas Arlese, with its Almanaque 2018, which won a Grand Gold with 93 points. The reward for a job well done.
